  The alpine biome is located in all of the great mountain ranges of the world. The Rocky Mountains, Sierra Mountains, and Cascade Mountains of North America are all alpine biomes. So are the Rift Mountains in Africa, the Andes Mountains in South America, the Himalayas in Asia, and the Alps and Pyrenees in Europe.

Attractions

You might be wondering what some of the attractions of the alpine ecosystem are. The alpine snow is perfect for skiing. Can you believe that there are over 1800 ski resorts around the world?! 

Have you ever wondered how the view from the highest place in the world looked? People who climb Mount Everest get to see this wonderful view in person.
